Easter

We spent Easter at my parents house this year. We first went to church and then headed over. When we arrived we were surprised to see that my sister had brought their rabbit, Butterscotch. How fitting for Easter to have the "easter bunny" there. Micah loved him. Not surprising as he is like me and loves all animals. The kids played for a while and then when my aunt and uncle arrived we hid eggs in the backyard for an egg hunt. The kids at this point had more than enough candy, but finding eggs hidden in the back yard is soooo much fun for them! We tried all day for a good picture of the 5 cousins, but Micah wasn't about cooperating. We had a super yummy lunch with ham, sweet potatoes, salad, squash, and fruit. After lunch we hung out and talked while the kids played. Micah and Jack even took a nap. It was a nice day. The weather was gray and cool, so we spent most of our time inside. The kids have more candy than a kid gets at Halloween. It came from grandpa Ed, grandma Helen, Grandmacakes and Poppy, Aunt Julie and Uncle John, Aunt Jennie, church egg hunt, egg hunt at Great Grannys, us of course, and the egg hunt at mom and dad's. It is just ridonculous!!! I just found out Ben and Ellie have cavities so I am trying to limit as much sugar as humanly possible.
