A Six Flags Day

Rob and I took Ben and Ellie to Six Flags with Julie and Annabelle last friday. We arrived when it opened and left around 9pm. The weather was PERFECT. Unfortunatley it was a little chilly when we tried Hurrican Harbor. The kids really wanted to go and soon realized how cold the air temperature made them even though the water wasn't cold.
The kids had fun at Bugs Bunny National Park riding the kiddy rides. Last year Annabelle was fearless and we rode front car on the Mine Train. This year when we took Ben and Annabelle on it they both said, "not again!" Ellie really liked the big ferris wheel; she rode on it twice. I was able to ride the Batman (which I thought would make me puke, but it didn't), Evel Knievel (an awesome ride that Ben could have gone on,but GLAD he didnt), the Boss which shook my brain, and the Mine Train which is my favorite! The kids were not willing to try out to much. The first ride we tried was the Joker (the old Buccaneer) and the kids were shaking, so we couldn't do that again. The lines were great, no waiting, so we did as much as we could. The kids loved the swings and the Moon Cars. I can't wait to go again with just Rob and hit up all of the roller coasters and slides at the water park. We had a great time and hope to take Micah back next week to do the kiddy rides and the water park.
